Qualifications: Required is a Ph.D. or Ed.D. from an accredited university and five years or more of classroom experience as the teacher of record. Highly desirable is college teaching experience and a record of publication (required if the candidate has been in higher education for more than three years). Strongly preferred is the ability to teach Health Education.
Primary Responsibilities: Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in elementary, middle, and secondary science, academic advising, student teaching supervision, serving on or chairing doctoral dissertation committees, and evidence of a strong scholarly research and publication agenda.
