Join an energized and innovative faculty producing some of the nation’s best teachers as an Assistant Professor of Science Education (tenure track) in the Annsley Frazier Thornton School of Education at Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky. This position is available in August 2012.

Qualifications: Required is a Ph.D. or Ed.D. from an accredited university and five years or more of classroom experience as the teacher of record. Highly desirable is college teaching experience and a record of publication (required if the candidate has been in higher education for more than three years). Strongly preferred is the ability to teach Health Education.

Primary Responsibilities: Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in elementary, middle, and secondary science, academic advising, student teaching supervision, serving on or chairing doctoral dissertation committees, and evidence of a strong scholarly research and publication agenda.
